Esmor Davies, a true Welshman and passionate charity fundraiser, will drive nearly 2,000 milesfrom John O’Groats to Land’s End in a JCB digger, hoping to raise money for visually impaired charities across the UK. Esmor plans to take up to 6 weeks to complete his challenge – starting on 26 July 2014.
The charities Esmor is raising funds for are planning to create stunning sensory gardens like the one he built and entered into the RHS Flower Show, Cardiff, in April of 2014. Esmor and team won Best in Show and the Gold Award with ‘Esmor’s Woodland Walk’ which was the inspiration for this wonderful song, performed here by Côr Llewyrch.
To support and promote this charitable event, Robat Arwyn and Robin Llwyd ab Owain were commissioned to write this beautiful song. A number of concerts will take place along the route of the marathon, at which Côr Llewyrch will be performing, as well as other invited guests.
